A few weeks ago Walter Foster and Chris Chastain had a chance to get out and do some pre-season scouting on one of the Small Streams & Remote Rivers that we love. The water bumped up a few CFS as the spring and summer get underway and the boys went out and took full advantage.
Streamers and nymphs were the name of the game as these healthy browns looked for their first big meals of the warm season. Luckily for Chris and Walter, there were plenty of fish willing to play ball!
If you're an experienced angler and your looking for a great experience away from the crowds look no further than Trout Tales Remote Rivers and Streams Guided Fly Fishing Trips.
In the spring us Trout Tales guides get our fishing kicks before we start going head first into the guide season. This year was no different. Walter set out for the Yakutat in Alaska in search of mighty steelhead. Although it rained for 4 of the 7 days he was there his fishy intuition led him into a few nice healthy fish.
Stay tuned for more "Guides Day Off" posts all season long!
